Food Sensitivity Testing - How to use them without creating FOOD PRISONS!
Apr 16, 2024 Season 2 Episode 10
Tracey Stroup, ND, CNHP

All health begins in the gut! Many people have heard that statement. But what does it really mean?

Food sensitivities are on the rise...and food allergies! Why?
What is the difference between a sensitivity and an allergy? How can we as practitioners help people struggling with this issue without putting people into food prisons?

Personally, I use bloodwork and food sensitivity testing to help people lower inflammatory markers and regain health. I do think the overall abuse of food prisons in our industry is NOT healthy. So let's chat about that too!  Today, let's talk about a healthier way to use this testing.

On this episode we discuss food sensitivity testing, the patented science behind it, who needs to be tested. Plus, how do we use this testing to first eliminate inflammatory foods for a period of time, lower systemic inflammation, heal and seal the integrity of the gut and help people rebuild their health in a walk of abundance rather than deprivation.

This was a good chat! Don't miss it!

About our guest: James White CEO and Owner KBMO Diagnostics
James acquired the developer of the patented FIT (Food Inflammation Test) Test which is the first assay to identify IGG1-4 and C3d, the inflammation marker simultaneously for 176 foods, colorings, and additives.  The ability to help reduce inflammation by personalizing a patient’s diet has the promise to reduce symptoms in cardiovascular, diabetes, IBS and other autoimmune diseases as well as the opportunity to aid in weight loss.  The company has expanded the product range to include a FIT 22, FIT 132 and FIT 176 assays and recently launched Gut Barrier Panel. The company has grown from 5 to just over 10,000 providers ordering the test in the USA and internationally through our  distribution  and Laboratory partners in Middle East, Asia, Europe and Latin America.  The company’s facilities include an ISO and FDA registered manufacturing facility, 2 CLIA High Complexity laboratories, Sales and Marketing and Logistic Capabilities.  During the COVID Pandemic KBMO was one of the first commercial labs offering antibody testing and PCR testing to providers.
