#EatPrayFaith with Tracey Stroup, ND, CNHP is about the biblical foundations of health set by God. Foundational Health (body, soul & spirit). We go back to biblical principles on physical health, nutrition, movement, hydration, sleep, cleansing, Soul wellness (mind, will and emotions) and spiritual health (your relationship with the Father).As a former New Age practitioner, Tracey will analyze and compare new age practices NOT in the Bible. Additionally, she will connect the biological pathway of DIS-ease in the body; how the enemy's target on your life literally takes YOUR active participation and how to live according to biblical principles, to use the word as your weapon against the attacks. We will discuss everything from nutrition, supplementation, disease, genetic mutations, fitness, detox and cleansing to modalities given to us by God and those not of God, Controversial topics will be discussed, break open conspiracy theories and get back to Christ centered biblical health. This is not mysticism or the idea of supernatural healing. God can do anything but we first must learn what HE said about our health according to scripture. Special guests and more...Christ at the center of all things. We never stop asking the question, “What does God say?”

Medicinal Essential Oils....It's not another MLM and why you need to question them!
Way back in the day, upon starting my natural health journey, I was introduced to essential oils by a friend in a MLM (multi-level marketing company). And I loved them. They were easy to use...apparently they cured everything...and people liked them.
Fast forward 15 years into my functional naturopathy studies and now teaching, I realized they were not all they said they were. Now, before everyone gets offended, we do know that the government, FDA, EPA and even natural supplement companies are not always truthful when it comes to standards, testing and quality.
Well, guys...hate to burst your bubble, but not all EO companies tell the whole truth either. Does this make them bad or not useful? No! It simply means, what you use them for is EXTREMELY important AND we need to know the standards at which they are produced so they are not dangerous.
Long before MLMs and even before they came to the United States, essential oils were dispensed by pharmacies in other countries like France due to the purity and potency. They were considered medicine.
Today you can buy them in gas stations and grocery stores so we really need to pause and consider...what changed? Well, it is the production, growing and dumbing down of these once amazing and medicinal elements of nature.
Recently, after discovering these truths about EO companies, I decided to stop my membership with an MLM in which I made a nice monthly commission, simply out of principle.
I cannot represent something that is FALSE to my health community, not matter the payout. Then I sought out an expert. Who could tell me from growing to bottling all the ins and outs...the good, bad and the ugly. And I found her all the way from New Zealand. My eyes were opened...Now I can never unsee the truth.
I hope you enjoy this podcast today. I love essential oils and after years of hearing "I got an oil for that", EOs lost credibility in my eyes. But after talking with Dr. Bo, I realized they do have a place and a space not only in the home but in clinical practice.
